A parent can remove a child profile — and everything tied to it (reading progress, quiz scores, game history, saved paintings) — at any time, immediately, from the Parent Dashboard in the PlatkyKutti app or on platkykutti.com. No email or waiting period is needed for this.
Deleting the parent account itself — the email, password, and every child profile under it — is self-service and immediate: log in, open the Parent Dashboard, scroll to Danger zone, and type DELETE to confirm. No waiting period, no email required.
If you'd rather not use the in-app button, or run into trouble with it, you can still request deletion by email:
Your name and email address, password, every child profile under the account, and all associated activity: reading progress, quiz attempts, game history, saved paintings, usage information (sessions and sections opened), sign-in history, and registered push-notification devices.
Security log:we keep our security log of account activity, including the entry recording the deletion itself. Its entries can contain the account's name and email address, child profile names, IP addresses and device type, and are kept so the history of an account can't be altered or erased. Only PlatkyKutti administrators can see it.
Backups:our encrypted nightly backups may still contain the account's data until they expire — daily backups after 14 days, weekly backups after 4 weeks. They are only ever used to recover from data loss.
Payment records: Razorpay and Google Play — not PlatkyKutti — hold the actual transaction records for a Premium subscription, and retain them under their own policies regardless of when a PlatkyKutti account is deleted, since we never receive or store card, UPI, or bank details ourselves.
